Harrington Grove Country Club, built in 2005, was designed to be the main focal point of the prestigious Harrington Grove estate, which will see 1,100 home sites set on a lush 1,200 acres. With 60% of the land to remain bushland, the key objective of the estate is bushland conservation and regeneration.
To meet this objective, Calibre Consulting adopted an innovative and interactive approach for many engineering design aspects, including creative water sensitive urban design (WSUD). The development also embraces the ideals of connectivity and sustainability, with a network of cycle-ways and footpaths to allow people to travel from Camden Valley Way to Kirkham via Harrington Grove.
In addition to providing engineering advice during the masterplanning phase, the project highlights for our team included design and construction supervision of:
- 1,100 residential lots
- Camden Valley Way and Oran Park Drive signalised intersection
- Oran Park Drive upgrade
- Harrington Parkway extension
- Design for rehabilitation of Campbell Creek, onsite detention basins and water quality ponds at Oran Park Drive
